WHAT WE DO:

DJN investigations is based in the South West and provides specialist investigations into allegations of 

1.   Sexual and other forms of complex misconduct including bullying, harassment, unlawful discrimination, or hate crime (whether the allegations are against members of staff or students) within further and higher education settings.

2.   Breaches of discipline and misconduct regulations within any workplace setting, including bullying, harassment, unlawful discrimination, or hate crime

3.   We are able to provide bespoke advice, guidance and training in relation policy, procedure and processes related to misconduct within the workplace and educational arenas. 

We offer a highly skilled investigation service delivered with sensitivity, commitment and respect to all parties.

Our investigations are: 

  • Delivered in an efficient and professional manner employing a forensic approach based on best practice approaches used in law enforcement

  • Informed by an understanding of the effects of trauma from victimisation but balanced and fair to all parties

  • Timely, taking into account stresses suffered by all parties and the likelihood of additional time pressures, for example as a result of precautionary action

  • Tailored to be compliant with each University’s and workplace process framework 

 

We don’t just investigate. We are able to also support the development of high-quality approaches to all other areas that require focus in order to effectively tackle misconduct in higher education and workplace settings:

 

1.   Preventative approaches and fostering a healthy culture;

2.   Design, and delivery of tailored training (for all staff, first responders, wellbeing staff, investigators, discipline committee members, HR departments, and company managers and directors.)

3.   Risk assessment and management both in relation to those accused and adjudicated against

4.   Consultation on the strategic management of sexual misconduct policies and processes
